Maya plugin is a miserable hot mess...

I downloaded and installed the demo. Octane is HORRIBLE in Maya. The UI/UX is non-standard to the application nor follows the standard conventions ANY OTHER renderer within Maya is using. It's really bad, Otoy. Will this change in v4, or should I be looking at Redshift, or keeping my existing Vray license through the Vray Next cycle coming up.

There is beta of a refactored version of the plugin which is very promising, no demo yet but I suppose this may be ready when Octane4 is out.
Still this is not a miracle, some parts of the plugin have not been touched, I hope they will be refactored as-well.

Glad to hear it's not being sidelined too badly. I'll guess it's the wait and see game. Thanks!
