Override material properties

Hi. I'm trying to make an "alien" material not neccessary bounded to "earth light rules".

But more specifically, I'm trying to get my shines tinted in red (while reflection isn't). So specular reflected light to camera I'd like to get reddish looking.

There is any way to override a specific property while the rest remains physically based? (The point is, very plausible material, but with a "what!, wait a moment..." point. Something doesn't fits here..).

Or must I use some filtering in postrproduction Nuke/After Effects to achieve this kind of things?.

Greetings to the forum.

Hi Reaversword,
I'm not sure I understand the effect you want to get; Take a look if this could be a starting point.
