octane_3.* demo for maya can not install Tweet

hi,
I almost test all version of octane demo for maya plugin ,but the process is not so smooth. Summarized as follows.

Env:
NVidia 1080 with newest driver , centos 7.0


Octane 3.03.2-8.02 demo standalone : run well.

Octane 3.03.2-8.02 demo for maya2017 : this version can install but AE error : Wrong number of arguments on call to oct_AE_replaceDefaultControl.
the AE manager the parameter can not display.

Octane 3.03.2-8.02 demo for maya2016 /2-16.5 : can not install . can not get the demo lib. maybe when our programmer compile the maya plugin use the release version , so it call the release version liboctane.lib

Octane 3.00.20 demo for Houdini 15.5.480 /15.0.459: can not find the Octane Render ROP!

Can you help me？We are evaluating the GPU render to add our CG pipline before purchasing.

are you sure of the version numbers you have reported?
They are quite old now.
Currently, the versions that you can download from the Demo page, are more up to date.
The Standalone Demo is based on 3.06.2 SDK:

While both Maya and Houdini plugin are even more up to date, based on 3.06.4 SDK:

https://render.otoy.com/plugindownloads ... x_demo.zip
Please, perform a clean installation of the Nvidia drivers, all versions needs CUDA 8 now, and try again with the above demos.
