Hi.,
I followed the video on installing the Octane plug-in, and it is the Cinema 4D demo version of Octane, but I can not get the Octane render to show-up in the menu bar. I'm wondering if that has something to do with the Cinema 4D being a demo? I don't have any problem running Octane demo in Lightwave discovery edition. any idea;s?

Have you updated your C4D to minimal supported version as write in install notes?

I'll try that. when I've hit the orange update button the system runs into a problem. I'm running windows 7 service pack 1, and I have a very slow Internet provider. It usually takes 2 to 3 hours to download a demo because I'm located at the max distance from the hub.
