Hi,

I'm testing the Octane demo version out in Cinema 4d.
Everything works very smoothly, but only when I'm using the 'render to picture viewer' my result is only a black screen.
The 'live viewer' of octane works correctly.

Did I forgot something in the settings?

Do you mean that you couldn't render any very simple scenes to picture viewer? What's gpu, free vram on Live Viewer? What do you see in Script->Console output?

Hi I'm a new user working with the demo version, decided whether or not to purchase. The main issue I have right now is no output (black screen) in picture viewer. The Octane Live preview window works perfectly and looks amazing but when I do an output to picture viewer, it shows render progress (counting through samples) but the image is black. Not sure what to do. I have a single GPU gtx960 with 4GB. Thanks so much really enjoying the speed and general awesomeness of the render engine.

So I have purchased octane, and now have discovered that everything renders fine in picture viewer with a full licensed version. I think it would be beneficial to tell users that rendering to picture viewer in octane c4d plugin is disabled in the trial version.

Can you use latest demo version? It was a bug on previous release.
