I tested the GTX 480 with octane, as soon as I click on the obj after importing the mesh, octane shuts down instantly.

glass.use - finally someone with GTX480 and someone who can compare Octan with Arion :) I hope that soon you manage to run the program and do some tests.

Hi,

beta2 does'nt work with GTX480 cards.
It uses a new feature in cuda 3.0 to automatically detect the card type which is broken for fermi cards.
It appears to be a bug in the cuda toolkit.

We will supply a new version in a few days (the 2.1 update) that will support fermi.

we've just received our GTX480 cards, and we're working on support for the next 2.1 update.
