It means you go in the camera tab with your camera selected and delete what you have set in the circled field (or put an actual scene object there)

Matej you're my hero
I've searched high & low on Google on how to set up a simple Blender camera & does it tell you that anywhere !!!!!
Gees a totally different workflow & procedure & YES the model shows up in Octane (angelic music starts playing in the background)

Now to master materials - haaaa haaaaa

Can go to bed & rest easy tonight - the license maybe purchased soon

The error message is a bit confusing, but it shows that Lionel (the author of the Blender to Octane exporter) has a sense of humor :D

When you export to Octane, it doesn't care how many layers or objects you have, it merges everything. It only looks at the materials applied. So you need to apply a new material to each object that you want to be able to modify in Octane (each material will show up as an output in your object node). With the stand alone (and integrated max plugin) you can load multiple objects and instances and Octane will recognize them.

Also, select your object and click "N", this will bring up the properties panel on the right side of the view port, near the top it will tell you the size of your object, seems like you fixed the problem, but your object may have gotten scaled up/down somewhere in the export process.

Thank you...the light bulb finally came on

Apply a default material in Blender then export to Octane VOILA all my layers/items appear in Octane....so use to simply pulling in a model/creating a model in MAX or CD4 without materials then into Maxwell Render.

Now to replicate my Maxwell Render materials into Octane

License may get purchased tomorrow :D
