As I recall that doesn't work if the orbx is missing a texture something.

Have you checked in the log if the missing asset is listed?
If yes, it could be possible to correct the .orbx in Standalone, and unpack again.

Just tested it and I see this was fixed in v2019.1.3. It was not mentioned in the change-log that it was fixed so I thought it was still an issue.

In all previous versions (2018 and 2019) Octane would just crash if the .orbx file was missing something. No errors no logs.
