I've been having some issues trying to recreate displacement with texture maps in the standalone version of Octane. Somehow, when i see tutorials of people doing it in DCC applications look so smooth and simple to set up t oget those fantastic real looking grounds displaced. Hard i try, i´m not able to recreate them in the standalone version.
I get streching when displacing a very low value, 4. 3 in the height parameter. The textures get streching even when Im using 8k and 4k maps. Surreal.
Yes, that place has 8 levels of subdivision and planar UVs before getting the obj to Octane.
I don´t know what im missing, but I´d appreciate any help i can get.
