Actually, I can't see any improvements beyond environment map rotation, some interface tweaking, the anaglyphic mode (can't test, I don't have a pair of those silly glasses) and, well, not being a demo.

I'm not complaining, mind you. Right now all I wanted was to save an image larger than my screen, so it works for me. I can't wait to get my hands on some lights though.

And BTW, now that octane no longer crashes while dealing with big render targets, how do you scroll and zoom the render preview window?

To be very honest I was expecting Sun/Light system. And that was a little disappointing. But if radiance says that it will be working in the next couple of weeks than I'm happy. Also transparency and bump/normal are vital!

Thank you guys. :!:
Octane is really amazing!
Saving scenes and images are the best improvments of all
Can't wait for bump/normal in next version...
I gonna test the camera trick now. Informations about how to do are not very large in manual...

hold down CTRL + drag left mouse button to pan the render.

note that the loading and saving to OCS and saving to Render,
are not simple unlocking, but i actually wrote the writer and parser, and all the code to transfer the image to disk image file during the last week, that's why it took so long.

Oh, that explains it. Good job then.

And thanks for the panning tip.

Hi radiance:)

Did you maybe add support for instances in beta or did some RAM optimizations? I took my espresso scene today, added espresso machine to it( that's 400k triangles more) and been able to render 1920*1200 image

Back when I was rendering it for competition I hardly been able to achieve 1024x600 without espresso machine...

And everything is much more stable now:).

EDIT
Bad grammar

@nk1 : Thank you for the info : to render faster, I will purchase an expresso machine instead of a new graphic card
