LAST EDIT:
I've replaced image - Luxrender (my post - Jan 30, 2017 - 6:36 pm UTC) - because I've deleted a lamp dot about "PSOR" using Blender due to the caustics much crisped WRONG (rendered by Luxrender). ;)

The OSL shader system we've shown in roadmap slides will be in place by 3.08, and there will be new options for custom material/BRDF controls (even without OSL).

:) this is very good news so we won't have to wait another year for OSL,
3.07 is already out at early stage so I guess we'll have to wait between 3 or 6 months for 3.08 and OSL ?

We're speeding up releases as of 3.07. So much sooner than that.

Many versions failed - delay continues... :?

Octane Render 2018.1 (v5) or 2019 (v6)?

We appreciate your feedback, please undesrtand that features implemented in Octane are mostly driven by our user's community for which we use different sources to gather feedback but it is the feature requests section which should be the place to make these type of requests so we can keep track and gather some useful feedback.

I can see you added one request in the past about an auto-save feature, note that individual features require individual requests so users can support them. If your request would receive a broad user support it will likely be added to the roadmap, as it's been done with others in the past.

Thank you. I've added a feature request about PPM or SPPM + GI. ;)
