Has the GPU limit been increased with octane 3?

I read a post by an OYOY team member that the 12 gpu limit was going to be reviewed with the release of Octane 3.

Cheers.

Hi electric_eric,
yes, correct, in v3 the new limit is max 20 GPU per master ;)

the sphere primitive is still broken. Octane render can import and render particles just fine, but their SIZE is still locked by a radius of 1.
please fix the size issue and i will love you guys :)
btw, i still enjoy the new features V3 has to offer, you guys do a great job :)

I found a bug.
If you create a Diffuse material, then change it to a Glossy material, then change it back to Diffuse, something breaks in the way the material handles the light.
You might want to check it.

Sorry, I can't reproduce it. If you do this on a simple scene and save the project and then load the project, does the problem still occur? If yes, could you send me this project please? Thank you.

Octane is crashing sometimes when I change the settings (units + individual materials by objects) of an alembic file.

Hi beppe,
unfortunately that happened at a clients place with his data so I can't handover the scene.
When this happens again with less sensitive data I will send the file to Otoy...

Set the render region in the film settings node.

Hi, this setting is not very intuitive and different to the lasso setup.
Lasso either should set the film setting.
Film node render only region and you have to composite later with other render.
Lasso may add a second "Max Samples" entry in Kernel panel.
I am not sure how the Region render setup should work UI wise.
I open a new thread to ask user how it should be.

Thanks for fixing the native window problem for KDE 5 Plasma.

Cheers, mib
