Sure, of course.
Thank You.

In V2 we could use boundary interpolation to eliminate distortion on UVs but in V3 none of the options make any difference.
Same distortion can also be reproduced in Cinema 4D if the method for subdividing UVs is set to 'Standard' instead of 'Boundary' or 'Edge'.

I think I just found the problem when I was trying out your octane_log_flags.txt file.
It's when you use the Region Render tool. Works fine if you don't use a slave. But when the slave is active the render will not finish if the Region Render tool has been used while rendering.
I can reproduce it on a simple scene with a cube.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but this happens quite often to me. I am rendering and then all of a sudden it says that there is no license on my computer, and doesn't even let me save my work. I have two licenses, one for my slave. This has made me lose a lot of time and work.

Thanks.

I have had this happen many times as well. Mainly when switching from 3 back to 2.

Hi, Using Stereo mode "side by side", I expected to see in V3 a checkbox allowing to invert right and left images. The reason is that when you want to show images on a large screen, without the need of glasses, the only and usual way is the crossing eyes method !

Is there a way to do that with nodes ? If not, could it be added in future updates ?

Would be a negative eye distance work for you?

Did you switch between versions, for example between an older beta version and 3.00?

@Abstrax : Thank you very much ! I didn't notice that change ! Yes, negative distance is now available. Visually it does the same, but changing the value from positive to negative or negative to positive relaunches the render engine. So, it would be useful to allow switching the images only for the display, without affecting the render.

I see no difference between Stereo Mode Parallel and Stereo Mode Off-axis. What would be really useful would be a converging mode allowing to converge on the center of the image, or a converging target.
The Converging Mode would allow to control the "window effect" and reduces the non merged strips on the sides of the image.

That would be a bit more work. I will put it on the to-do stack.

Hi Abstrax, I am working only with 3.0, I am also using the SketchUp plugin, built after beta 4 release. I will install the new SketchUp build (3.0.0.20 Test Release) and see if it helps.

Thanks.
