Thank You

Radiance et al-
I just wanted to say THANK YOU. This morning, after working my fingers to the bone for a week on a big project, I got a call from my customer. The test renders I sent him knocked off his socks. "How in the world did you do that so fast?" he asked.

I began using your software last week. The learning curve was only a slight uphill after working in Blender. The export function worked beautifully from Blender as well. To top things off, I finally figured out how to reliably use my Alienware M17x with dual GTX 280 cards without crashing Octane. That's just the icing on the cake. Now I can finally do that animation the customer wanted! All of a sudden, a year old laptop has suddenly gotten a new life.

I'm eager to see the kinds of additions that Brecht can make for Blender, if that's what he will be working on. But this is already an incredible product. Thanks for all your hard work.

Hi guys,

Brecht is joining our company as a developer working on octane render.
He's not some kind of liason to develop integration between blender an octane.

Although this might be possible one day, as brecht knows blender very well, it's not our priority at this moment.
We'd like to stay as independent as possible to 3d host apps, but better integration (in general, not package specific) is something we're obviously going to work on in a high priority.
