I still don't get how scaling works, or whether my program exports ok

What is this supposed to mean? 18.45744896 meters? (by default settings)
Are there any issues if the scaling is all wrong - apart for the circles - that is the only obvious one.
I'm getting a bit frustrated since I managed to get perfect results on one try, but then after I felt I got it right, reseted octane, tried again, and it's full of fireflies after 6 hours rendertime..
So a scene with an hdri that works ok with interior and one for exterior.. (something with sky and greenery), does the size of the HDRI make any significance to the quality of the scene - firefly and speed wise? I'm a bit impatient testing something for more hours to find out I have no idea how to make it right..
Should I turn of glossy or specular materials to get better or faster results?
yes, those units should be in meters.
if they aren't you need to export in meters.
regarding fireflies, use the trick to make nice renders (it's the first post sticky in the resources forum) by me.
just wait a bit for our beta 2.1 update, it will solve these problems.
