add ies in Octane is not simple.
For example in my scene I have several mesh discs (8cm diameter). I imported them and added the ies photometric. I have not achieved the desired result.
I think that Octane transform the ies curve in a flat texture but ies has three dimensional datas.
Or I have to add on every disc a different material....and in my scene there are 50 discs...

Hi gabrielefx and merid888,

What are the settings for your emitters? Are you adding the IES data to the correct pin (i.e. the distribution pin) ? Or can you post a screenshot of your settings and rendered image?

Those settings look correct, what does it look like in your scene?

The shape of the emission depends on the IES file you're using, can you attach the one from your scene? And those arcs are produced if the light is some distance from the wall.
