I noticed an issue into my scene... the direct light of the sun is not visible... what's wrong? Into the attached pics it's shown the windows glass material and its parameters... I hope it is not wrong but if I set the opacity to 0 the sun is clearly visible... if I set it to 1 the direct light of the sun dies...

So, what is the point of a portal material if I can't have glass in front of it for reflections? If I wanted an open space for light to come into, wouldn't I just have an opening in my geometry? I thought this was a tool for tricking the bounces into receiving sky reference, but if It doesn't work with glass, then I don't get the point of this material.

I'm guessing you could put it just outside of the glass itself, not in the glass, but still in a way that it fills the hole (such as in the window frame outside the glass). I haven't tested it.
