Just I quick one - I have Quadro 6000 installed and for render purposes want another couple of cards budget wise about £650 each
What would be the suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Hi Andrew!

Gtx 1080, but make sure your case is well ventilated because they get really hot when rendering and this decrease performance a lot because of trottling (the card slow down itself to keep the temperature low) , i suggest to buy an AIO LIQUID COOLED cards like this one or similar:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-GeForce-GT ... s=gtx+1080

just search for "gtx 1080 hybrid".

temperature is kept under 40° without trottling, so the cards render always at maximum speed.

but first is better to ask someone if it is possible to mix quadro and GTX card because they rely on different drivers, and i dunno if they can be installed at the same time...

Ciao
