Xfrog plants

Does someone has advice on this:
I want to acquire xfrog plants but it looks like I have to choose a format when buying.
Obj, c4d, 3ds or others...
Obj is my first choice while I hope to use them in OR stand alone.
But maybe in future I would like to use them in C4D as well.
And in future I hope to be able use them in Archicad as well... By plugin maybe?

So,
Can someone confirm the usability for xfrog obj plans for standalone,
would obj also do for c4d (importing ?) or do you need only the c4d xfrogs to use them (for animated plants maybe?)

Thanx in advcance for response,
Greetz,

Hey Rappet,
Did you ever get those Xfrog plants? How are they working for you?

Also on the hunt for vegetation.

hi Seeker,

Yes, I went for them (was sale 50%, maybe still is) and I am happy about it.
Some OBJ's I have to rotate around one axis or reassign a texture,
But the looks are great.
You can see the use of the Xfrog in these posts:

For what moddeler software are you looking for vegetations :?:

Hi Rappet,
Sorry for the sleepy reply. Thanks for your reply (only just saw it!).. Those trees look good and I also bought them on that 'sale'.
I use Revit and still love SketchUp for conceptual work. SketchUp is brilliant but there's the 32bit limitation and I am considering another modeler. I have Max (with Revit subscription) but have not used it. I've always liked Luxology and might give Modo a spin. Will see.
