This topic is for everyone who search for free Textures to use into Octane render

If you got good bookmarks and links for free Textures or Textures related tools/plugins/scripts post them here
I will manually copy your links and post them in the first message of this topic. That way the topic is clean

Tools for textures artists

ShaderMap Pro for Windows XP and higher
Convert photographic textures to height, ambient occlusion, normal, dudv, and specular maps
Check [gk] topic about how to use ShaderMap Pro for quick detailling the easy way here

xNormals for Windows 2000 and higher
Generate normal, ambient occlusion, displacement maps. Project the a texture of an highpoly model to a lowpoly mesh
Comes with some useful tools like height map, normal map, cavity map, occlusion, tangent/object space and spherical harmonics tools

PixPlant 2 for Windows 2000 and higher
Generate normal, displacement, specular maps and seamless textures from photographic textures
Create seamless 3D textures, horizontally and/or vertically tiled and correct perspective

Crazy Bump for Windows
Same thing than ShaderMap Pro with support for .dds and dxtn textures files
Look at great examples in the forum like this topic (Unreal engine 3.0)

Sam by any chance have you any good sources for free branded 3d models for interior house use. Been trying to find a large collection to buy but cant find anything that has more complex 3d models. (some look like legoland material) :0)
