Confuse about the Test Suite settings...

Hi all,
I am currently testing my current graphic card with the test suite for Octane. One thing I do not get- am I to load the .ocs file and test it under path tracing or should I follow the video posted by Francesco Legrenzi- the one where he applies HDRI map to the environment, changes the diffuse material of the tunnel to glossy and plays around with some of the settings. I ask because I get quite different results under both settings.

Thanks.

for the benchmark, just open the benchmark scene and change the render kernel from directlighting to pathtracing.
if you mean in general it's slow, you probably have an older or less powerful GPU.
post your configuration in your signature like everyone else as it's easier to give support.

Thanks a lot for the reply, Radiance. But my configuration is already posted in my signature- I can see it and it says:Windows 7 64bit| Phenom II x4 965BE| MSI Lightning GTX 275 1792 MB| 4GB
Or you mean something else?

As to the result- I am actually very very impressed. I am getting 2.13 Megasamples/sec under pathtracing. I will post the result in a minute on the results page.
Cheers man.

Edit: I was wrong- I wasn't opening the .ocs file but merely adding the object file. I get now 1.29 Megasamples.
