Hi Hun73rdk_1,

Thank you so much for the update.
The thumbnails of HDRI seem related to DAZ feature.
would you please uninstall Octane for DAZ and see if it still crash?

We tried to replicate it but still works. We would request our dev if this is related to Octane preview!

cheers

I am sure that this image browser has nothing to do with daz

But i could be wrong it generates previews on the HDRIs

Thank you Hun73rdk_1 for the confirmation!

cheers

Given that the Image Browser now shows up under the save button in the plugin viewport as "Browse save folder..." and I've nearly clicked in a number of times now when saving a render, I thought I'd report that this crash still happens for me in version "2021.1.6 - 76 [Test]"

Hi. I don't think the "Browse save folder..." option in the save menu is new, but maybe it's more visible now that the menu is less noisy?

Anyway, this issue remains unreproducible here. I suspect it's related to the number or type of files in the save folder.

I know you did this already, but it would be really helpful if you could upload a crash report from the latest version.

Thanks,
Toby.

I don't believe it's related to the contents of the save folders, as this crash is from clicking on the image browser button in a RGB Image node and a folder with less than 10 images opened. Any instances of the image browser crashes daz studio for me when trying to close the image browser window.

I'm really sorry this problem has gone unfixed for so long. I still can't pinpoint exactly where things are going wrong, but I can see several potential problems in the code, so I'll try to give it some attention when I'm done with my current set of priorities. Until then, try not to click the button!

Thanks for your patience!

At least some of the crashes in the image browser dialog have been fixed in the latest release: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=80596
