Weight Map for Deform Effects?

Is the Weight Maps feature for Deform Effects working and is there any documentation or tutorials on how it works?

They do work. I exported a LWO from MODO and it could see the weightmap. I'm guessing right now LWO (and maybe Alembic) will retain the weight maps.

Thanks. I suspected that's how it might work but wasn't able to get Alembic to work with it. I was hoping I would be able to take an exported weight map and import it as an image file.

Is there anyway we can paint weightmaps in sculptron??
I'd like to define which areas need jiggle and which areas need wrinkling.
Any idea how it can be defined using brush tools inside sculptron?
