Render Volumes Option ?

Rendering Volumes in Octane require the user to toggle on volume primitives for Octane tab for the Object; although how does one do the same when using Solaris as to render volumes when the object was creating in Solaris using SopCreate LOP ?

I think Octane Solaris might still require the volume saved to disk as a vdb, then loaded using the LOP "Volume" node. Hope they'll add the option of rendering those without the extra step at some point.

Hi Creative_Sheep,

Thanks for the post.
At the moment we would need to write out as VDBs and then use the Solaris VDB node.
Would you please share a sample scene of the SOP workflow?

cheers

Hi, I've attached the scene file; as well, how can I bake out the negative values of a VDB an image map ?
