Does RNDR support the latest version of Octane? (2023.1.2)

Hi Guys,

I can't find any info about what versions of Octane Render are currently supported in RNDR.
Can I assume, that the current "Latest stable version" (currently 2023.1.2) allways works in RNDR?

Hi,
when you create a Job, there is a "Render Engine Version" popup, and currently, the supported version is 2023.1, so a couple of versions older than 2023.1.2:

I See,
Actually, it’s not optimal, to get this information only when you actually start a render job. We would have to know this in advance.

For example, the reason why I was asking is: We are currently at the beginning of a big client project that will most probably require rendering via RNDR.
If we update now to the latest version of Octane, we will find ourselves incapable of rendering the scenes via RNDR because we would find out when it is already too late to change ship.

Hi,
you shouldn't have any issues in rendering a 2023.1.2 scene with RNDR 2023.1, anyway, before loading the job, you can always open your .orbx scene with Standalone 2023.1 to check that everything is ok.
