How many rays of transparency are currently supported by the renderer? I fought for a long time with a project where there was a lot of glass and liquids, and the artifacts that appeared began to get me, until I thought to increase the number of transparency rays - I tried 32, then 48, 52, 64 .. it works! )

Could we have an option to exclude object from surface picking in IPR, would that be possible ?

If I have a medium box around the camera then all I can pick is that box surface.

Perhaps it could be possible, but how to know what object(s) you want to exclude? Currently, the plugin is excluding the objects unseen by the camera or objects 100% dissolved.

Well I was thinking an option in Octane_Object_Properties like we have exlusion from dirt for instance.

Any news about parallel preprocessing of Octane scenes ? I got myself some 24GB 3090s but it takes ages to transfer the scene into VRAM.

Nope, sorry, not yet. I want to work on it at some point, but I don't have any ETA yet.
