i can export mesh only but including materials crashes.

orbx export is impractical for this scene. the rendertarget needs to be reconnected in standalon and i want to tweak materials and meshes further so i would nee to have obj..

Which version of orbx export are you using? Sequencer or the static export option?

the orbx is fine.

as the title says, obj exporting is the problem.

i use the simple file/export...

Could you elaborate?
You are exporting an unreal mesh as from unreal, that that crashes octane when it has an octane material attached to it?

so when i export any mesh as obj and if it has octane materials, it crashes unreal.

i presume unreal is trying to collect materials and textures and gets confused by the octane materials in the process..
