I am not a unreal user, could you give me some answers to these questions:

-1) is it possible in import orbx to recover the 3d in Unreal and make virtual reality with a Vive or occulus. with only one orbx?

-2) I have a classic subscription since 2011 with standalone octane and sketchup is it possible to use Unreal or does it need a subscription per month?

-3) are there any Unreal users who have already tested Unity with Octane;
what is the difference between the two, I would like to make virtual reality for architecture! what is the easiest to use.

-4) Will Octane in the future be a real-time engine?

Thanks for your answers

Not at the moment, but we are working on a feature that will unpack ORBX files.

During the beta you can use Unreal with any license. After the beta Octane for Unreal Engine will use the same licencing rules as the other plugins. Octane for Unreal will have a free (prime) version though.

Currently only the unity version allows you to bake lighting onto your scene.

Will Octane in the future be a real-time engine?

If you mean as a 30 fps game engine, then probebly not in the foreseeable future.

Could you please explain the difference between the free tier octane and the paid octane? I can't finde some informations about...

best regards

Paid subscriptions allow you to use multiple GPUs. Studio 2, and Enterprise up to 20.
The paid licenses also allow you to unlock other plugins.

They come in two flavors, as subscription or purchace.
