Yes thankyou! And not trying to hurry you along here as I imagine it's pretty complicated. buuuut - do you have an ETA on the Big Sur update? I have a job I have to get out and have already upgraded my OS without checking argh. If not in the next couple of days I'll have to reinstall Catalina. Thanks again.

Hi,
please, open a scene that is giving you issues with PR4, then go to c4doctane Settings/Other tab, and, at the bottom of the panel, enable all the Log option checkboxes.
Then, load the scene in Live View, then in Picture Viewer, or until crash, then reopen c4d, navigate to c4doctane Settings/Other tab, press the Generate log report button, and share the octanelog_report.zip file, thanks.

Any news about the free commercial license for Mac Pro 2019 users as stated in July 2020? I'm really keen on giving it a try on my machine.

PR5 (Big Sur) will add support for M1, and PR6/final Octane X 2020 release will add all plug-ins on Big Sur, add Pime (free tier) and demo versions, and an Octane X standalone app on the app store- we just are doing these last - once we are stable and done with bug fixing - as it takes a lot of time to build these tiers. We want to make sure all known bugs get fixed in studio/enterprise PR5/6 updates on Big Sur before adding prime/demo into the mix.

Since I updated from Catalina to to Big Sur, none of the OctanePR are working. I've tried with 2,3, and 4. It literally crashes as soon as a scene is loaded. Is it just me or are you guys also going through this?

there is only Standalone PR4 available for Mac Os 11 Big Sur, at the moment, the plugins are not ready yet:
