Render or export for render from Unity runtime

Only having OctaneRender support in the editor seems very limiting.
We create environments at runtime (largely procedural) and need to send scenes to be rendered by a raytracer like OctaneRender.
Will there be some support for this and when from OTOY?
Can a scene be exported in a standard fbx/obj format with materials and passed to OctaneRender without a lot of post-load setup in Octane?
