Hi,

I followed the video tutorial on your channel to bake the lightmap sucessfully. But i dont like when the texture is rendered into the light map. Is there any way i could exclude them or Do I have to render seperate passes and composite them back together ?

If so, which passes should I be using to have a good lightmap texture ?

Yes, octane support a colored "Irradiance Mode" and has an Irradiance Pass. These should give you the light map without the texture.

Either open up render passes and activate Irradiance.

Or if you want to denoise the lightmap:
- Turn on denoising
- Go to the kernel and select "Irradiance Mode". This will turn the beauty pass and the beauty denoised passes into irradiance passes.
*You might need to de-activate Irradiance in the render passes for denoising to work
