Invert Textures?

Hello again.
I'm having a problem when I try to invert a texture in octane.
As you can see, I've tryed with two different textures, an octane native noise and a rgb texture .png file.
I don't really know whats going on here, so any aclaration will be highly apreciated hahaha...
By the way, octane invert for the noise texture doesn't flip the texture horizontally.

Is there a specific way to do this? an operation node or something similar? I hope you can give me a hand with this :)

Thank you!

I would suggest posting this question in the General Discussion forum, as it concerns Octane itself more than it does the Unity integration.

Hi,
I have tried in Standalone 4RC7, but the Invert option seems to work as expected to me:

Thank you for testing it in the standalone version, so the problem seems to happen only in unity octane or what? Should I post this thread in general forum as xhed sugested?

Any idea?

Thank you again :)

These are two different behaviors.
For the noise texture, I suspect the explaination is that the gamma is applied after the invert. So if you have a gamma of 1, you will get the behavior you expect.
In your example it is 1.5

The normal texture has a similar problem, but in reverse. The gamma is applied to the texture first, and then the invert is applied.
If you set gamma to 1, you get similar results as photoshop.

This is an Octane feature, so general discussion would the right place to ask about it.

Thank you for this answer, I had the same problem with invert textures
