Can you check in version control that you are using Tier 1 for your new project?

Hello Xhed,

I seem to be in Tier 0 during the installation of Otane on a new Unity Project

This is my workflow and version numbers:

Create a new Unity project (Unity 2017.2.0f3 Personal Edition)
I see a short message about package manager
I open the new Unity project and install Octane from the unity menu
Octane Unity version1.1.0.1074
Octane version: <empty>
Tier 0
I get the message from the screenshot.

I my old project, octane registers fine. i have these version numers and i can render
Unity 2017.2.0f3 Personal Edition
Octane Unity version1.1.0.1074
Octane version: 3.0.7 TEST 6 (3070005)
Tier 1

Regards,
Michel

The Octane extension displays your tier as 0 before initialization (it is only resolved then). Can you go to version control and check that you have installed Tier 1 there?

I had this problem too and my issue was that i installed Tier 2. When i switched to Tier 1 the licencing dialog stopped showing up.

Thanks!

I found the version control button in the PBR settings window.
I selected Tier 1 for installation and all is well, thanks :)
