To that effect, we will also be disabling licenses associated to and purchased by Software3D. If you purchased Octane licenses from this reseller, we recommend that you reach out to them for a refund as they did not have the proper reseller agreement with OTOY. At this time, the only way to purchase licenses from OctaneRender is from our official website here.
We understand that this may disrupt the workflow of customers that purchased licenses through Software3D. In order to prevent disruption to your workflow, we are offering a 30 day subscription license to those of you affected while you reach out to the reseller for a refund. The licenses distributed by Software3D will be disabled in two weeks time. During this time, please reach out to our support channel at [email protected] to have your subscription license assigned.
Update 19 June: We are currently working with Software3D to resolve the issue. Their cooperation will help minimize the impact on those affected.
