ORBX Export crashes Octane Server on this project

Using Octane Blender 2018.1 / 17.6. I am having issues exporting an ORBX file from the Octane Blender plugin. Octane Server crashes after about 60%. The temporary ABC file never goes past 9GB before Octane Server crashes. I anticipate a final ORBX file size for my 242 frames of Flip Fluid animation should be about 18-20GB.

I have successfully exported smaller segments of the file, as well as the full 242 frames of animation with the Flip Fluid sim set to preview instead of full resolution.

I am exporting the ORBX to an external drive (NAS) and my system drive has almost 50 GB free space (for the creation of the temp file).

The export has failed now at least 4 times and I do not know what else to do. Please can support or the devs take a look at my file and see if there is anything wrong? Or tell me what diagnostics I can run or logs to check to find what is causing this problem?

NOTE: the forum attachment seems unable to upload my compressed 179MG 7z archive; can devs let me know how I can get my project files to them?

EDIT / UPDATE: was finally able to do a successful ORBX export using older Octane Blender v4 - but that two crashed on the first two tries. Final ORBX size was about 9GB. So I am wondering if part of problem on 2018.1 /17.6 might be with the actual writing of the file since the crashing always occurred around the 9GB ABC file size?

Bump.
Can any devs advise how I can get them my files so this can be looked into? Do I need to contact support directly?

Additionally, I was having issues rendering this directly in Blender as Octane Server kept crashing every 10 - 30 frames. Initially I had my fluid sim set to Reshapable proxy and then after numerous crashes switched it to Global mesh, which seemed to make a difference.

Thanks.

Large ORBX can be a issue for sure.

We should maybe consider to store object sequences as separated files in a specific folder, more than including those in the ORBX file itself.

Thanks for your report and testing, it's gold.

Not sure I understand the above instructions? Or are you saying this could be a potentially different, more stable way for you guys to code how Blender Octane creates the ORBX file?

Also let me know if there is anything more you need from me that could help.

Thanks.
