Before posting a bug report, please check the following:
1. That the issue has not already been disclosed
2. That the issue is specific to this plugin, and not Octane in general (Try reproducing it in Standalone)
Bugs related to the Octane Engine itself should be posted into the Standalone Support sub-forum.


All bug reports should include the information below, along with a detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce it.
A. Operating System, including version (i.e. Win 7, OSX 10.11.2, Ubuntu 14.04, etc.)
B. Graphics Card(s) model (i.e. GTX 580 - 3GB, TITAN, etc.)
C. RAM Capacity (i.e. 6 GB)
D. Nvidia driver version (i.e. 7.50, 7.5.22)
E. OctaneRender Standalone version, if installed (i.e. 2.24.2, 2.23, etc.)
F. OctaneRender plugin version (i.e. v2.25 - 2.21)
G. Host application version, including build number if available (i.e. 3ds Max 2016 Build 18.0)

1) Renaming of material slot when LivePreview (LP) is working causes that further changes inside this material are not visible in LP - LP restart is needed

2) In textures nodes - opening file by Open File ICON when LP is working causes stop of LP ( frame with transparency checker is visible but no render pending ) - LP restart is needed

3) Cannot expose outside the group any properties of inside nodes

4) This is not a bug but my modest request:
Implement please as a professional coder script that I have created that gives diffuse colour to material slots in 3d viewport into final version of BOE: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=57919#p298081
( I could not make interaction - changing slot causing color change that is already set for 3DViewPort diffuse )

Number 2) seems to be fixed in 21 release - now texture loading makes shaders update

Is there any chance to fix the rest of the list ?

EDIT: Unfortunately for some textures ( 4K res images in my case ) I does not work as it should.
To make it work after choosing a file I have to push the Open button again and press Cancel in File Open Dialog. Then Updating Shaders is processing.
Be patient for me, please. I am new here.
