All bug reports should include the information below, along with a detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce it.
A. Operating System, including version (i.e. Win 7, OSX 10.11.2, Ubuntu 14.04, etc.)
B. Graphics Card(s) model (i.e. GTX 580 - 3GB, TITAN, etc.)
C. RAM Capacity (i.e. 6 GB)
D. Nvidia driver version (i.e. 7.50, 7.5.22)
E. OctaneRender Standalone version, if installed (i.e. 2.24.2, 2.23, etc.)
F. OctaneRender plugin version (i.e. v2.25 - 2.21)
G. Host application version, including build number if available (i.e. 3ds Max 2016 Build 18.0)

...independently on my activity (even if my PC is in IDLE and Blender isn't runing).
Sometimes there is a system window appears that applicaton has crashed, and other time it just silently stops.

A. OS Windows 7 with lastest updates at the current date
B. GTX 680 4Gb + GTX 770 4Gb
C. 24 Gb RAM
D. Nvidia GeForce Game Reay Driver 368.39
E. OctaneRender Standalone 3.02
F. OctaneRender plugin for Blender v2.25, OctaneServer v9.11
G. Blender 2.76b Octane Render edition
Win 10 Pro 64bit | GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8Gb | AMD Ryzen 7 3700X | 32GB RAM

On Linux it will not even start now. :( It must have something to do with the new licensing as it was working fine before. Here is the error I'm getting:

Thank you for report.
I don't think it's related to a new licensing... But it's definitely strange that it started to happen only now... Looks like something related to LiveDB data. I will check this.

Same problem for me Octane Serveur 9.11 crash every time I start a render or during a live tweaking shader.

This is very non productive for me, I always restart octane server and lost the pleasure of working with it.

I use Blender last release 9.11 (2.76) and the last Octane server too.
GTX 780 x2 - pilote version 359.00

I found the problem, the new LiveDB data on the network suddenly triggered this "brand new" issue in this stable version.
I've already fixed it, and going to release the Windows and Linux versions with this fix tomorrow.
The only negative here - the OSX version can't be built currently for technical reasons. I will build and release it later, as soon as I get and set up an OSX build-machine for it... Apologies for inconvenience...
