Texture not updating

Hi,

I have a problem concerning textures.

If I add a texture-node, render and then update said texture by overwriting the file, nothing changes. I can even save a different image in a different spot either locally or on the network, as long as the file name is the same - the texture doesn't update, the original (cached?) image is used instead. Blenders viewport updates to the correct texture just fine, the problem is only present in Octanes rendered viewport and actual renders.

I've only observed this at work for now, but I'll be checking at home later today. If someone could test this out themselves I would be most grateful.

Using latest 9.11 release, latest stable Nvidia drivers, GTX570 at work, GTX970 at home.

Cheers /Erik

I've seen that happen as well. I had to rename the texture, then reload it into the node for it to work. Make sure your "overwrite" option is ticked on the render panel before rendering.
