Render -r octane -smp 100 file.ma <--does not set sampling to 100
2. Also there is no longer any progress output. Previously we would get a line:Octane: Refreshed image, 3962 samples per pixel of 8000
but now it just says:octane: frame 101: scene translated in 0:030 sec.
octane: frame 101: render is finished
3. Lastly it always seems like the linux installer(extracted) is missing the octaneRenderer.xml file. I always have to run a dummy install on windows to steal the xml file for linux.
Hi Psultan,
Thank you for reporting this.
We have created tickets on our tracking system to investigate on sample override and request ticket to include the OctaneRender.xml for Linux?
Btw, you just need to extract the .exe windows installer using 7-zip.
AFAIK, the new plugin is designed to not print the refresh image to optimize the plugin.
