NOTE: If you plan to use this plugin in Maya prior to 2023, DON'T UPDATE the Bifrost version from 2.4 installed by a Maya installer to 2.5! The Bifrost 2.5 SDK/API is completely incompatible with previous one, thus you will not be able to load this plugin.

Thanks so much for the post.
We are still investigating to support Bifrost 2.5.
For now, the workflow is to write out as VDB and reimport it.

On macOS, unable to load octane plugin, i have this error in maya :

Thank you so much for reporting the error log.
Would you please confirm if you Bifrost installed?

We need Bifrost and Xgen to be installed to load OctaneRender for Maya plugin to load even though we do not use them!
