Houdini version number must match?
Posted: Sun Mar 13, 2016 6:28 amI'm trying to install the demo - does the Houdini version number on the plugin have to exactly match the version of Houdini I am running for it to work?
Yes, to avoid problems the Houdini version number must match the plugin build. If you are not using the plugin in production you can try it without match the versions, but be aware that you can have crashes or problems with some features.
