Hi,
I apologize if this topic came up in the past, I couldn't find it with an admittedly quick search.
In Mantra, rendering volumes has the option of filtering the voxels with several types of filters, some smoothing, some sharpening. This is one thing I've never managed to properly render in Octane without extremely high resolution volumes. What am I missing? Does Octane have any render time filtering options? Especially with dense and detailed volumes, the voxels are too apparent.
* My workflow is usually generating vdbs, saving them out as XXX.vdb and loading from disk as it allows for much faster time to first pixel.
Thanks in advance for any help with this issue.
