I have a pipeline that involves loading dozens if not hundreds of bits of geometry from several FBX files. Each piece of geometry has its own base diffuse texture as a material in the FBX that i've wrangled through the Houdini environment well enough to preserve the texture-geometry assignment in a basic mantra material.
How can I get the octane plugin to take at least some of this information from the Houdini environment so that I don't have to undertake the insane task of loading all these manually?
