Octane X Houdini 19 Support Tweet

It's been quite a long time since Houdini 19 is out and there is still no PR13 available for it, which makes it impossible for over a month to use Octane. Any chance we'll see an update here any time soon?

I'm working on it, but unfortunately I can't make the plugin compiled against PR13 work on my mac mini M1 + Monterrey. I hope to know more about this problem soon.

Subbed for any updates as well. Just had some changes in workflow and now the Octane X support is very important in my Houdini pipeline. Is there any way we can help troubleshoot? Does Apple still work with Otoy from time to time to lend dev support?

Sorry, I still don't know why the OctaneX PR13 core doesn't work with Houdini, or at least why it doesn't work in my mac mini m1 machine. Anyway, these are the links to download the plugin, in case you could try it and check if it works in another system.

Yes, sorry. This is the same problem that I have here and that we are investigating. I wonder if the plugin could work in other metal architectures (intel CPUs and/or AMD GPUs)
