Hi, is there an alternative to the mPlay IPR on a mac? That thing is fairly useless unless I'm missing some way to access all the normal controls present in the regular IPR?

Not yet. The future Qt5 IPR and the viewport rendering features will be the alternative to MPlay, but not for the current 2020 OctaneX builds. Anyway, be aware that you have a custom Octane IPR shelf including some of the tools available in the OpenGL IPR window that also work on MPlay, like picking and so on.

Checking to see if there is an update on this. Is Mplay still the only IPR?

The new Qt5 IPR will be available in the first builds of the macOS Octane 2022.1, hopefully soon
