Okay i was able to log out of houdini in win10:
https://imgur.com/KpIJ8DJhowever it still shows its using the license. is there any central way to make sure to logout entirely from a machine before shutdown so it releases the license in all plugins/apps? I have no idea why it is still showing active status.
i checked standalone/ C4D and all other apps i can think of - using Octane - wondering what i missed!
Current Status:
1. Seems I can log in and out of my Win10 Machine normally. But nonetheless Houdini crashes (albeit logged in) when executing "render to disk" - IPR renders file
2. after logging out of houdini in win10 i can not log in to Ubuntu Houdini (however it seems it's not crashing on render to disk as i get the progress bar -

PS:
1. both my boot (i,e. win10 and Ubuntu has Identical "computer names" - could that be a reason?)
2. how about a "log out from everywhere else" button beside/ instead of the "retry" OR a Machine based login? (it becomes difficult when one has to move between few machines office/ home/ laptop etc frequently)
thanks again.
