Hi everyone,
sorry for my English.

I have a problem.
i need a Watch render to do.
But i have Always big artifacts on my geometry if i use reflection.
someone have an idea?
if you turn the camera, you would see where is Always artifact.
And if i change cusp angle, there is Always artifact somewhere.

i attach my file if someone will help me.

i know perhaps my file is not perfect, but it's possible to this point?
this file come from SolidWorks and it's a .stl file.

Thank you for you help.

Best regards

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply, I'm in a short vacation break. I'm not sure why you get these artifacts in this object, but it seems related to the object itself because as you can see in the attached images, I get the same artifacts in the viewports or in Mantra. I tried to improve the mesh topology using the clean sop and so on, but without luck so far. I suspect that the problem can be related to the bunch of small and thin polygons available in the mesh, but I'm not sure ... perhaps you could ask SideFX about this issue.

Thanks,
-Juanjo
