Hi
I'm using octane for Houdini and it crashes on rendering sequences and as has no network rendering option for monthly subscription its destroying my whole schedule .
I come morning and see had rendered only 70 frames and crashed.
I changed a setting on gpu driver to get more time for response but today it was like every day.
Any suggestion , scene is really light,
Is it an os issue ?. ..
In different versions of Houdini I'm experiencing this.

Sorry for these issues. Can you please share your scene to take a look at it here? The Octane log file that you get after one these crashes could help a lot. You can enable the log file in the plugin options panel.

Please share all the basic info of your system, houdini version, octane version etc to give people the best chance of helping. some people here have had similar experiences, but it's usually something wrong with the setup, memory is something wonky happening, but without knowing the specifics its hard to guess.

It's happening on Houdini 17 and 17.5 . I've tested both of them.

Some news about this issue. I can reproduce the problem here, but I need to figure out how to fix it because it is related to some critical core code that is not easy to replace. I hope to know more soon ...
