Hello,

I'm having this in Houdini console, since this morning
all i could read about this concerned stuff i don' t use : i don't use orc /

*** OCTANE API MSG: ORC user subscription status could not be retrieved: The server returned a client-side error with HTTP code: 401
*** OCTANE API MSG: Error while fetching ORC subscription status: ORC subscription status cannot be found

what does it mean ?
does octane works or doesn't it ?

In fact Octane does work like a charm but i still have those console message filling the console messages : no needs for this added computation thing !
how can i put it off ?

Hi,

This seems an Octane core issue that I suppose it will be fixed for the next build or in the Otoy servers, but in any case, doesn't seem import, so you can ignore these messages.

I am also getting these error, about once maybe every 5 minutes. Everything is working correctly, but the dialog pop-up is obtrusive and as far as I know can't be hidden. It's not that easy to ignore.

I have been using Octane steadily the past few weeks, but this error just started this week. Nothing has changed on my system during this time. As far as I can tell, Windows firewall is not blocking Octane.

Just thought I'd add to this thread that I'm getting this error message as well.
