Hi,

The log file is defined in the plugin options panel, debug tab, but currently, I think that it doesn't support the Houdini variables, like $HIP, so probably that's your problem. Please, use an absolute path.

Thanks,

Thank yu for your answer Juanjgon,

Interesting...

I've given it a try, at first with no result :
(moving the octane.log file at C: root)
C:/octane.log or C:\octane.log (i don't know which one)
they both didn't work > not found / because of writting authorisations i guess.

So i've pasted it on the desktop C:/Users/PC/Desktop/ and now there is no more the issue > problem solved
i can move the IPR cam with quiet more ease now, (before there was those numerous lines of code in console loading the same camera several times on each clic).

(liveDB textures directory and localDB directory needed to be adressed too).

If you close the IPR while the render did not begin yet : houdini crash.

Have a nice weekend Juanjgon ;)

Hi,

For the next plugin build I've fixed the crash if you close the IPR window while the scene is being extracted. The next plugin build will also support veriables like $HIP in the log file path.

Thanks!
